Hey PORRS WORX Guys,
SSCA is running an 8-hour race at Road America on September 16, 2006.
PORRS WORX has a guaranteed grid spot should we want to use it. If we can get 6 drivers together, we could probably roll out the second car as well.
SSCA is the group that put on the 12 hour races earlier this year at Daytona and the Glen.
Any takers?
Rob

Hey Kevin,
I might be available to do a stint if you need a driver around 11:00 am est. My work will be gearing up for opening new branches but that is early enough (west coast) that I could sneak it in if needed.
Let me know.
Ced

Hey - a list with my name on?! ;D Hope we can drive the Jaguar? but anyway, count me in (as I apparently already am ) See you. Jan Btw. this time I insist we take time to check everything at the latest the day before raceday! Not to sound "rough" or anything, but I remember some issues that are not to be repeated... ;D

Agree with Jan. Must practice driver switches and esure same player files well in advance.
We're still running the Jags I assume since I've not seen any other car paints for us floating around.
I'm good for a stint or two. And, like I said, we could roll out the second car if all six of us can drive at least a stint. I think we've heard from everyone on Kevin's list except Rick... Harrison sent an email around the other indicating interest in running.
Also, for anyone interested, I got an email from Darrin Gagni regarding server info etc. Will be glad to forward that to everyone if any of you didn't get the same thing.
Let's do this puppy.

When I set the schedule, I'll put you in that time slot. As far as testing is concerned, How about Saturday, September 9th?

Fine with me. But please don't let it interfere with Formula One practice on Monza, best time for me would be after 16:00 CET... or in the evening (CET).

Testing on September 9th is very good for me. Let's make sure we all have the correct player and car files... and let's get Ventrilo with mics working as well. I think we're losing way too much time on driver switches relying just on the chat room. Rob Edit... here's the SSCA website if anyone needs it. www.sscarace.com/

Kevin,
Can you email me the player and car file you are using so I know I have what you guys have.
Ventrillo. I run this on a seperate laptop. Unfortunately the mic is flakey on it. I can hear you guys but you may not always here me.
I think the issue in switching can also be how it discos from the server. The other person must also be sitting at the multiplayer screen ready to log on. You are going to lose 2 laps right off the back when you disco. Sometimes even 3 laps depending on the track. So there's nothing you can do about that.

Unfortunately I will not be able to join, as some "stuff" has turned up. Terrible sorry for this last minute change, but can't do anything to change it. Sorry. Hope you guys have fun - and success. Good luck. Jan

We were talking about Saturday the 9th (at least I was... LOL). For me, it will have to be daytime... have plans for the evening, starting about 5:30 Eastern.
