Unforntunately the PORRS 1 car never made it to the track. Terminal engines failure in practice kept us from making the start.
PORRS 2 is doing fine and we look forward to their report.

Yes, PORRS2 is running now! Kev is in and got the car from me in a mere pos. 14. Did qual with a spin i T1, gave us pos. 19 or so... sigh. Had two or three spins (and of course in the tight s'es with walls on both sides - just great), punted another car off, "lost" lots of time letting lapping cars by... But the weather is splendid! Most laptimes around 1:56-58 with a couple of 1:55, and *many* over 2 minutes... raceleaders are doing 1:50-1:52... Only positive thing is that the car (miraculous) is driving ok and in one piece. Had some rearwing damage in first stint, but got fixed during first pit. My raceday is over at Bathurst. Kevin and Rob will take her home from here. Wish you guys best of luck. See you in Mexico City!

Kevin had the second stint. I will let him report on his effort.
I took the car at about the three hour mark, having told team boss Ced that i would do a 2 hour stint instead of the scheduled 1.5, if I got in a groove. I did. Took the car in P14 or P15 and got out of the car in P10, having made up several laps on some of the mid-pack cars. Was running mostly 56s, but also a good number of 55s. Almost broke into the 54s, but was a couple hundreths off.
Had one self spin and I overshot the hard braking zone coming down the hill one time. No damage either incident. I got tapped in the rear twice entering the sharp 1st gear left hander that starts the twisty portion of the track. I think it was the same guy both times... one of the Vader Trophy guys. Sheesh... I was gonna let them by on the next straight anywayz.
Like I said, handed the car off in P10. Kevin is finishing the event. He was up to P8, but we look to be having some sort of a black flag not clearing problem. Ugh! Hope he makes it through... back to check!

I feel lucky to get the P10.
I had a crappy first stint because my car was too loose. I was all over the place but managed to maintain P14 throughout. On my second stint I took over from Rob. His 2hr stint made for favorable sequencing during my stint. I entered in P11 and made it to P8 but missed my pit then got a BF. I was unable to get service and ran out of gas. After all of that was still able to maintain P10.

Hollly Cooww Batman,
No kidding Kevin...lol. Would have been a P8. But it's all good and a great effort by you guys. Your time will come and that Top 5 will be there or better yet a Podium.
We just gotta get the stars to align and the planets to be in the right place so we don't get punted by those impatient leader dudes.
