Spun on cold tires, took out a couple other cars -- sorry James and Nick (?) -- red damage at the left front. Tried to stop at the pits but slid right past the entrance and was in last place. After that, I just said fark it and stayed out. Lost probably a second and a half per lap. Ended up a lap down to the first four cars. One of these days I'll actually do a race without some major screwup... Congrats to Greg for the P2 win.

Nice racing tonight; Paul----sorry about the tap in turn 1, it looked like you were leaving me room to pass there. I waited several seconds for you to pick up and go ahead of me, but since you didn't, I moved on.
This is a fun track!

The Mazda is VERY slow getting underway from a standstill. I was pedalling as fast as I could... I appreciate the thought.

Red Weasel Racing Reports
What can a Weasel say?
Miss Susan had a pretty good run, she took it nice and easy and had a smooth run overall, doing overall much better than the Head Weasel. I suffered a few incidents from running into a black cat, again sorry Paul, I didn't have an escape.
I did have a really weird issue pulling up behind Ced, that car must make such a big hole in the air I was captured in a low pressure inversion that raised my car from the track and into the guard rail. All I could do is voice my displeasure as I ran up to speed down the long straight to capture a moment in time as my face froze momentary as the car went straight off the track into the kitty litter, just then realizing that it was a right front being blown that was causing my unstable condition.
I also found myself running up on the curbing there on the high speed kink sending me looping around, not once but twice, once on the near curb and once from the far curb. The latter being a bit brutish causing the Weasel nose to be added to the scenery. Anyone need a Brake Marker?
So I'll admit that my ego has been bent a bit, just when you think you have the car figured out, it snap spins and teaches you that you are only an occupant, it is the participant. So see you next time...

I'm the one who should apologize, James. I love this mod for it's realism but it reveals every shortcoming in a person's driving style and for me, it's the issue with doing competitive laps on cold tires. I set up my car so that it's good for most of the run, but that means the first couple laps, the Mazda is like Bambi on ice. This time, I got the left rear about one pixel out on the grass and the car was just GONE. I guess Greg needs to give me some driving lessons, huh?

really like this track, some of those high speed sweepers are a lot like those at miller. that one ended in tears this time it went pretty well. my goal for the first part of the race was to keep terry and tom within sight (barely) until the stop. luckily, i didn't fight for position and was paced for awhile by tom's p1. think terry was +15secs when i pitted fuel only on lap 17. after the stops cycled, somehow i was ahead of terry but only just. he reduced my 4sec lead to 2 on consecutive laps when he tussled with another car??? that gained me another 10 secs but at the flag he was back within a couple.. phew! don't know who that other driver was but thanks for making your car so wide pretty exciting on worn out softs.. congrats to sandy on p1 laurels
