Apologies to those who got tangled in my (now traditional) early race spin. I just waited too late to brake and the rears locked up and around I went. I knew this would be a challenging track and it was but it made for good racing. After the tight confines of Goldenport, this was a track where the P1s could really get up and go, and I learned to just get out of the way when I saw one coming. Congrats to Jeff on the overall win and to Gary and Greg for the P2 podium finishes.

Red Weasel Racing
HEY! I made it with only with ONE BIG Mistake...going to the starting grid with my Qualifying Setup, so needless to say five laps into the race I had to pit for fuel...and I needed to shed those super soft and grab a set of softs.
In and out, lost way to much time could not make up the lost time but finished P4 in class. Weaseled my way up a bit but still had one of those back end ran out to pass me sending me around and kissing the wall and buggered up my front left but the damage was minor even if RED. Had a good run to the end, settled in for a smooth race once the early DOH! was over come.
The Weasel Wench was a bit miffed at a few drivers, I'm sure you if you are in her wrath you know it and why. All in all she had a good drive, not getting the hang of rolling on the throttle without breaking the backend loose. Yet another job for the Shockey Monkey... Good fun at this track with these cars, really enjoyed it even with the early goof.
Congratulations to Class Podiums keep your eye out for the Weasels we are up on the wheel.

Hope she's not angry at me, I thought I might have tapped her in the turn 8 (?) chicane but after reviewing the replay I hadn't but it was close in a tight braking zone. When I flash my lights as I pass it's only to say thank you for letting me by without incident. I hope no one takes offense to that as it is a sign of respect in my mind. I don't get to do that very often but last night I was hooked up on this track. Sandy was clearly faster so I knew my only chance was to be real steady and stay on the track. That worked, this time! Thanks for a fun evening. Now if the Packers would have won.........=(
Thanks to Paul for his advice to JP on raising the ride height, that helped greatly I thought.
Edit: Where are my manners, Congrats to the podium finishers in both groups. See ya's at Northhamptonshire. Merry Christmas to all.

Ditto what Jeff said. I cant tell the Weaselmobiles apart in the heat of battle, but one of you flashed as I approached and pulled to the side and I flashed my lights after I got by but it was just to say thanks.

Well I wasn't going to be able to catch Paul any time soon, so I had to hang on for 2nd in class, was tricky though, caught up with the mess in the hairpin, made the most of it, suddenly Greg comes blasting past and he loses it in the hairpin, and I don't see him again until after the pit stop, I think I made the right choice in getting fresh tyres, as the hard compound I was running I don't think would have lasted two stints on this track.
Car was putting out low 24's on some occasions, which is the best I have done so far at this course
couple of laps later I was behind Greg, and he lost the tail at the exact same corner again, I didn't see him after that, which surprised me since he certainly had the speed to catch up again. Not sure what was going on but the last lap was a bit hairy, for the last few turns.
Congrats to the podiums of both classes, especially Paul for mixing it with the P1's, you really seem to have the Courage dialed for setups.

Thanks Gary. The Courage's physics fits my driving style so I really enjoy racing it. Reminds me of the Toyota for the old Papyrus GTP mod, which is still my favorite sim car ever.

Can you believe my luck ? I blew my engine in the pits.............. Not that it made much difference. Just didn't have it here. Too bad because I loved the track. Congrats to the winners. Oh, and BTW, I apologize to someone.... don't know who but I was trying to move over for him to pass and it seemed like every time I'd move he'd move. We were dancing without music. Being a back marker makes life a little tricky. You have to always be looking in your mirrors. However, I want to commend our aliens......they are very courteous when they pass. I try to be easy to lap and I seldom get the one finger salute. I HOPE !

in responding to gary--those two costly spins were my only 'big' errors..ha ha. outside of a damaging self induced crash at the chicane and an extra stop for fuel. so no way was i going to reel you in even if your tires weren't right. you were more consistent and kept it on the track a lot better than i did, welcome back spoiler congrats to paul and the rest of the p1 podium.. j/k amazing pace from the p1s though--nice battle happy holidays everyone
