Hey All.
Monster good fun last night at Kyalami.
Was able to run the first race and get a P6 before having to head out to run at MNRL CARS. How did the rest of the night go?
Ced, I did get the replay saved of Race 1 if you need it. A question for ya though... is there a way to save the race without leaving the track? If so, please let me know, cuz I've not found it yet. I caught your chat about getting the replay, but wasn't able to confirm before I had to leave.
Can't wait for the full F1 1979 mod to come out... these things are so cool to drive!
Still don't know how people were tuning 9s though!! LOL.

I also had a blast last night. Some how I managed to stall my car when the green flag came out for race one. So I fell well behind eveyone and had to drive hard to work my way back up through the field. Actually I drove to hard cause I made way to many mistakes during the race so I finally desided to park it rather than cause a accident. In race two I didn't stall the car at the start, but I did a great job of spinning the stupid thing around a couple of times, again everyone got by without any problems thank god, but I was at the end of the pack again. This time I kept my head and drove a pretty good race. ;D I do have a couple of complaints with this mod. 1) I hate that stupid rev limiter light on the front of the car, why not put it in the dash 2) The time it takes to get the engine in these things re-started after you stall it. Ok, 3 things 3) Guys turning faster laps than me!!!!  DaveS |

I had to disco a few laps into race 1...couldnt see anyone so guess i was warpin too bad.

Brent send me your player file and I'll take a look at your internet settings. If you have MS Word. I can send you the file BOB sent me that explains a lot of stuff in the file.
Dave....HOW THE HECK DID YOU STALL THE CAR...rofl. And more important, how did you restart it (For future reference)
Had fun too, too bad I didn't make the race for race 1. I reinstalled directx and the second race was fine. If I only hadn't of slid off the track in T2.
Yes Rob can't wait until the full mod. But there something else comming that might get your attention.....1998 Cart Fedex Mod....HA Ha HA Ha Ha Ha,..... Back when the Champ cars could put up a fight against F1

One more thing. I know a lot of those guys were probably here for a pickup. Were any of them invited by you guys. I know you mention it Brent that you were going to tell some NA Wosec guys

And more important, how did you restart it (For future reference)" I'm not sure exactly how the heck I did it Ced, but if's it's possible you can be sure that I'll do it at least once. To get the engine restarted I had to put the car in neutral and then wait about 5 seconds for the engine to restart itself.  DaveS |
