I got an email notification from the site, the ALMS round at Laguna Seca will be live streamed at 2.30 Pacific time on Saturday 22nd at this website www.americanlemans.com/primary1.php?cat=live just need to create a user account in the top right hand corner (if you don't have one already) I wish I was there, and I wish I had the speed channel but this will do fine.

Speed isn't covering this one unfortunately. CBS is doing a condensed version a week later.
Already signed up for the stream -- I just wish I could figure a way to get it on the big screen TV. Anybody got any ideas?

Paul,,
See if your TV has a VGA, DVI or SVHS on the back. It should have one of those if bought in the last few years. VGA is the easiest because all you would need is a VGA cable from your PC to the screen. Choose aux input and you should be good. Some of the newer TV's actually have it listed as PC input. The other inputs would require a video card with those outs on it. I'm sure your vid card probably has at least a svhs.. It's all doable with the right cables. ;D

Looks like I might be able to route the video to the tv with the SVID output on the laptop but we'd be stuck with the audio from the computer.

What a race! I won't post any spoilers but that GT contest was, if possible, better than the season finale at the same track last season. I had the streaming on the big tv and brought the old laptop in and had timing and scoring and the Lizard pit communications on it. BOTH froze up with about two minutes to go -- everybody in the world must have been following that race over the net...

Yeah that was a cracking race, love the little Mazda and it's lowly 4 cylinder keeping time with V8 power plants nail bitter for an ending
