WATKINS RACE Getting Dropped - PLEASE READ

If you log on to the server and you are having either an rfm mismatch, and unknown vehicle or veh/ car mismatch you are missing files.

RFM - If you have already downloaded the original PORRS Season files, you just need to download the season update file in the PORRS 2007 folder on the download page. If you have never downloaded the PORRS season file, go to the schedule page on the website and click on the link for the file and unzip into your rfm folder.

Unknown Cars - If you downloaded all of the zipped car files in the PORRS 2007/ 2007Carset folder prior to Friday 12:00AM Est, there have been individual zip files added. Each file needs to be downloaded and unzipped into the appropriate folder.

VEH/Mismatch - You most likely have a car selected that is not in the game or one not submitted for you. Double check that you have selected the correct car for the race tomorrow.

I tried to DL the 2007 update but I only get a text file that won't DL. Any ideas are welcome. Thx harrison

Right click on the file and then do a Save Target As....., select a folder you want to save it to then once saved you need to go to that folder and rename the file from "PORRS Winter 2007.rfm.txt" to PORRS Winter 2007.rfm. Then copy this file to the rfm folder in rFactor.

Over the last hour I've been on the server a couple of times...saw 2 different guys cars fine but Burmcat (Nick) showed up as unknown. I just dl'd the car set today so it should be the most up to date, right? Is there a car for Nick in that download or do I have a problem? Also, the last time I was there someone (sorry, I can't remember who) was testing a Zonda and when they left I CTD. Perhaps it was a freaky happening but we had that problem in TPTCC with some BMW's in our last season. Just a heads up for those that know how to handle those things. :-)

Hi Tom,

Did you download the single files in the folder. Those were added after the demon, zonda, etc zip files were created. Make sure you have those as well.
