Good Race everyone. Once again a race of least mistakes won. I tried my hardest to stay with the front group after my launch control start but every time I tried to pass Bob I found myself mowing the lawn. Nothing on Bob, just me picking the wrong places trying to pass...lol.
Then for most of the race I was seeing that Blue Eagle of Terry always lurking in yonder view as he made his way back up through the field. As I used up the rears I saw Terry disappear into the distance and watched on the HUD as he caught up to Greg in 2nd and wishing I could join the party. I hear it was some party too.
We have a week off this Sunday so enjoy.

had an 'i-pod' moment at the start and after getting it together, that was a crazy battle with bob and pat for 2nd early on--great fun.. but terry recovered from his lap1 off and was lurking (i think waiting) for leadsled and i to take each other out.
using all of the track and a little more, managed to hold off terry until the final lap--of course, that was just part of the master plan. actually, i messed up the esses and gifted him the draft into t1. but what a fight to stay those 2/10s ahead those many laps beforehand!
guilty of getting the chicane wrong more than once--think i took flight late in the race..
congrats sandy, you've won a formula ford engine--hand over that weslake ;D

I think my engine puked. It just quit running. As usual I'm in a class by myself. I was only with the fast guys because I got a great start. Then things settled down and there was a steady parade of cars blowing by me. Then I just motored around until the engine died.
