Welcome to the VIR G.P. Sports Weekend

Ok Guys I'm hoping this will be a much smoother weekend as we have raced these before and there shouldn't be any issues.

The FunCup will run this weekend as well and this should be a fun (but tough) run for these little buggers.
Needless to say the sportscars are proving to be a handfull.

If you are not running in the FunCup, please wait untill 6:45 (if practicing early) to log on to the PORRS Server running the Sportscars. I have not tested both servers running at the same time under moderate loads.
For the Funcup I am cutting down practice from 20 minutes to 15 to allow a little more track time. The server will be up and running prior to 6:00 for extra practice time.

any zonda runners been on vir lately?
weird....I took a zonda out (online) to see what times I could turn...got a zonda.hdv mismatch to be kicked from race. Tried several other zondas and same thing....tried zondas offline at vir same thing....demons + protons are fine (on+ off line)

OK, I thought I had the track but I don't...

...and rFactorCentral is down...does anyone have a link that works or could someone compress it and upload it.

Ok I will check both of these. I will zonda check and have the track that is on the server zipped.

Tom and I were on the server earlier in the sportscars and I'm pretty sure when it went to Q tom (in a Demon) got booted.

Affirmative to what Bob said. That was the second time today that I got booted when it switched from practice to qual.

I just went on VIR in a Proton and I got a MCF1.HDV mismatch. It would not let me on the track after that.

i was on 1 hr ago and no problems with the zonda.

Just ran thru a practice session with Brent, both in Demons, and did NOT get booted when the session changed to qual. I'm hoping that yesterday was an anomoly.....or whatever those things are called....and however it's spelled...and whatever it means.

have been running some laps in demon this morning...no problem.
Just tried to get on track with a zonda called porrs_z_000 (bob?) and i got a mismatch and could not enter the track and would be kicked from race. Same thing that happened to me yesterday with the porrs_29 zonda
i have checked all my files re: ced's topic on that and i have everything.
anyone else check this? I know bob and charlie were on there (zondas) with no problems.

Hi Brent,

That car is on the server. I am going to test each zonda right now. It's 11:00 am est. I will post info within the hour

i've been running my zonda on there all week and no problem....i'm gonna try again ...but EVERYTHING worked for me ..ced maybe it would be a good idea to post any files that were posted within the past 2 weeks...i cant make heads or tails of any new ones now.

no mismatches for me this time.
