What the hell happened? I was driving along fine and then Ced restarts the race. I was trying to type out that Saih was warping pretty bad in front of me on the start line and the race starts again without me!!!
Two races now without any results and a lot of wasted practice time! I'm just a littile peeved at the moment!!!!

I though Dave got caught up in the mess I caused and was going to offer my points to him, bummer Dave.
I take full responsibility for the turn 2 mess, Tom got squirmy and I was being too much of a gentleman by holding back to let him regain the track...then I spun and ended up smack-dab in the middle of the track. SORRY ALL.
Anyhow, after that I was trying to hold on to Tom (after he and CB sorted themselves out) and he made a small boo-boo and I got past. Was trying to put in fast laps to get away from him and I abused my brakes too much, I had to brake about 20 feet back from normal. I adjusted my driving style and still was doing pretty good lap times. Traffic was no problem, all drove awesomely.
Then my 'puter CTDd. I said a bad word. I felt upset. Then I said to myself, "Self, there is always next race." Then I smacked my self upside my head and felt better.

Red Weasel Racing Reports....
Well I guess the Weasels aren't the only thing that crashed tonight.
A repsectable 8th and 10th, Need to have the race Steward talk to a few of those dive-bombers, they make turns very difficult.

My game crashed too so it must have been the server.
Well its been an interesting few races but I have to say I think this whole mixing several different mods together has been a failure. With this being a new mod to most of us and with all the files needed and problems that has caused and now this. I think we should take a relook at what we are doing and start from scratch. Maybe only use one mod and see how that goes. Just my two cents.

Something crashed, that's for sure. At the start of the race it was ME, twice downshifting myself into spins. That wasn't nearly as bad as the game crashing right when I was ready to pounce on ClownMan...... J/K Bob, that was a great run you had going and there was no way I was gonna make up those 11+ seconds. I hope everyone else's race ended better. If nothing else, reading all this might make Dave feel a little better.

Hey, I vote for a re-race on whatever evening is convenient for everyone. Just don't make it Tuesday or Thursday cuz I bowl on those nights. All others are party nights and I can give one of them up for y'all. :-)

Dave,
How did you not get in to the race on the restart. I restarted it because too many people got hammered at the start for not going. You should have still been in it.
Looks like Loren was having con problems at the beginning of the race and that's probably why he didn't see anyone on the first start.
as far as everyone crashing. It looks like it was a massive boot. But not everyone got dumped so that leads me to believe it was a router hickup somewhere on the net. It's happened before and will happen again. Part of internet gaming. IF I get Dennis' file the race will be scored at 5 minutes to go unless everyone wants a rerun..

CTD here as well.
Had the FSR Sim-Gear Gallardo up to P4, which I was very happy with as I was 6 to 8 seconds off the top Saleens and McLarens at this track...
Pretty good drive. No driver mistakes of consequence, and was getting supurb tire wear even though I was running softs. Was going to be in for a tussle with 6 minutes to go as Dennis was closing on me fast for position.
I'm game for a re-run though if that's what everybody would want to do.

i cant run on fri nights (bowling ) or sat.nights (other league commitments ) other than that i'm free
rob i think it coulda been interesting if you hadn't got booted
i emailed you the race file ced as for the replay ?? i'm not sure if i have what you need
one other thing.if we rerun this and i get booted or get a dnf .i'm not gonna be happy .lol

After reading Dennis' post I'm kinda changing my thinking. We all know that getting the boot is part of sim racing and I completely understand why he'd be upset at getting booted on a re-run. Perhaps it's best to just let it go as is and move on to Virginia.
