Ugh... and I mean Ugh! My P3 start postiion was wasted when I forgot to engage 1st gear at the start. Geez Rob, c'mon! What's with that? Sorry for anyone who got tangled up in my error. Race was going fine, and i had recovered back to the tail end of the P1 class leading group. I had just passed Sandy staring the 3rd or 4th lap, then my graphics froze. Still had sound, and it sounded like I didn't hit anyone and was sitting in the gravel. Waited 30 seconds or so to see if the graphics came back, but they never did. When I crtl-alt-del out of the game, I noticed that I had an install updates indicator, which I bet contributed to my graphics freeze... either that or the cursed nVidea bug. In any event, I again hope I didn't catch anyone out when my graphics went. See you all in a couple weeks, and have a great T-Day everyone! Rob

Just when I thought I was going to have a perfect race, lightning leap off the start line, from 11th, to 4th in 100 feet, got passed, and sat in 7th for the whole race, new tyres, and fuel at the stop, and then on the last lap after the time had finished, the car beaches itself on the inside of turn 4, gutted I couldn't finish the last half of a lap, with a huge lead over whoever was in 8th.
Cya at the next one.

Well there was some racing going on at Interlagos. Greds got the jump at the start and was not an easy guy to pass. Rick was right behind me and Greg and Tom not far away. It went like this for quite a few laps. Then I tried a game of chicken down the front stright and my clumsy corner got me by Greds but Rick got by both of us. I turned the boost up hoped i had the gas and chased Rick. Caught him before pit but I could not get a gap on him. We pitted the same time but I turned the engine off great then the stupid thing will not start like it's vapor locked eeeeeeeehhhhhhe voooom puuuuuuppppp eeeeeeehhhhheeee vooomm puuupppp. 40 sec later it rolls out of the pit. The cursing continues all the way around the track. I caught Tom and had a battle for a while. He finally let me by rather than risking sheet metal. Caught Rick again and this time he was on bad tires. It was a great race for a couple of laps. Rick got caught with a lapper in the sweeper and took a chain link ride. I got by safe and was thinking thats a crappy way to lose a race then I put a wheel off and there goes Rick. My last second attack in the last turn was unsucessfull and Quixotic Racing scores another victory with a differant driver.

Wow , that was wild. Got a good start, but not as good as Gary, as he rocketed by followed him and Scott and got to watch a Great battle, till they both slipped up a little and I swooped by to take the positions I was running med tires so I knew it was just a matter of time till scott caught me. I did not make it easy , but he got by, and tried to shake me, but by then his softs were starting to go and the med. tires were in the groove I caught him just before pit stops and led him in. Had a good pit and was off, looking back glad to see Scott still there as I went in hunt of the positions I lost when pitting. I could not run boost as fuel was tight. Meanwhile Scott finally gets out of the pits waaaaaaaaaay back there and starts to chop off 2 and 3 sec's a lap into my lead, crap. in the closing minutes I do a little mirror driving and cost myself a few sec's :-Xand There he is, double . I turned up the boost and we went at it, I caught a lapper and just could not wait, sorry, he was all over me like a cheap suit I did not hit the lapper, but could not make the sweeper and did the chain link slid watching Scott go by I took off after him hopeing his tires were gone. Another nail bitter in the end... Cya, were ever we go hehe, I'm not getting on the wrong plane this time ;D.................. P.S. Like Rob said, Everyone have a Great and Safe Holiday

Yes this was the race I expected it to be but not the people dropping out as they did. My experiment with the R8 is over as I don't have the time for research in getting the physics and tire wear comparable to the rest of the cars. Going back to the ARX where I hope to be competitive at Vegas. Once again I was in a battle with the Head Weasel and as I realized he was faster I tried to give him the inside but maybe confused the issue and he drifted off. My apologies. Great Race by all

Red Weasel Racing Reports
Race Line: Interlagos
Well, I’ll start by saying the Weasels had a small issue establishing a setup, Miss Susan couldn’t drive the preferred setup that Mister Jerry Rigg provided, that was until the Head Weasel looked at her Screen and saw the Refresh Rate was slow. Looks like it had gotten reset to 24 MHz and caused some issues for the up and coming Weasel driver. With her settings corrected she was getting a better handle on the car and could drive it, but wasn’t happy with the way it was turning and was riding the car chief like a monkey riding a pony. “Make it turn!” and “The backend feels squishy!” and the favorite “This &$## car, I can’t drive it for #*!”
The Head Weasel on the other hand was very happy with the car, fresh off the trailer from Longbeach the car wasn’t changed, except for the fuel amount. The car was really fast on the inner part of the track but lacked just a bit of the long straight away speed that some of the other teams found. Mr. Rigg, went on to say, “Yea, the Head Weasel just loves the higher down force, his only complaint is with all that force he is still breaking the backend loose at high speed, I told him to stop pushing the accelerator through the floorboard and that should stop happening. Other than that he is looking really good in the draft and the infield sections.”
With high expectation we went to the grid. I will mention that Qualifying was conducted with the race setup including the heavy fuel load. You buy the pit crew some ice cream and they just forget themselves.
As the lights went green and…the Weasels got stuck on the grid as the line of cars stood still, slightly bumping the car staged in front of him, he watched as the field shot past. But that was not going to be the only early race incident that would claim the charge to the front, early on, Captain Dale went wide on the second sharp inner turn and when he came back on was right in the path of the number 92 and was T-boned the 92 went for a shuttle style launch, completing only one orbit the vehicle landed safely with massive front clip damage but would turn out to still be drivable, applying the Gentleman’s Agreement, I sat and waited for the Captain to right himself and then lit out after him, now both cars very near the end of the pack.
Miss Susan would fair no better, though more than a handful of spots ahead of the Head Weasel, she would encounter difficulties of her own, as the twitchiness of the snap loose condition would be a factor in both the Weasel driver’s race compounded with damage to both of the cars they would solider on to the end of the race.
Had a miscue with the Full Metal Squirrel as we were flying up through the inner right hander, I committed to the outside just as he relinquished the inside to me and I ran my car off and into the fence to avoid smacking into him, it would take a full lap to regain the track position on the Mad Squirrel and make the pass, in a less tricky spot.
Late in the race as the 0:00 time flashed and drivers were sliding off track the Head Weasel would stop to aid GP to recover from being stranded on the curb, a loss of a finishing spot went with it but, better to finish than to watch the stream of cars fly by like a stranded whale.
So the Weasels parked their Porsche RS Spyders and go sulk off to hide their disappointment and drink away the bruised egos and to forget the broken and damaged cars.
See you next time.

Figured on a 2 qual runs...first two hot lapper and then just enough time for one lapper. Did good enough for P2 after the first run so was hoping to do a bit better on the final lap. Made a couple adjustments to the setup, including fuel, at the last second for this final run...shoulda put a touch more fuel in....Was 3 tenths up for pole after 2 sectors and then....ran outta fuel at the pit entrance...woulda been close I think.
Started P2 and ran P2 for the first laps and then about 15 minutes in, coming up on lap traffic, I apparently forgot where I was on track and didnt brake at the proper moment....ended up losing P2 to Sandy but a few laps later he spun, I barely missed tagging him and I set off to try and catch terry but he was some 30 seconds up the road. I had started with a full tank so was gonna run til very late before pitting. Terry did his pit stop mid-race and I was able to keep a 28 second gap on him and actually pull out another second and a half before my pitstop with 8 minutes to go. Knew this was gonna be tight to keep the lead. Pitted and came out in front of Terry by 1.5 seconds and with my worn tires he closed quickly. Them on the penultimate lap while braking for the 2nd slow right hander infield, I didnt gear down enough, thought I was in first but wasnt and ran a little wide on to the grass, Terry gopt by and I chased for the last lap but wasnt gonna catch him.
Happy with P2 and happy to see Pat round out the class podium!!

For a minute I thought I was in a TPTCC race. Nearly every race last season I got caught up in starting line accident and it happened again last night. Dead last, facing the wrong way before I even got to the flag stand while the field motored away. Put the little Courage/Ford into full boost and headed out. Started the race with enough fuel to (hopefully) go the distance and planned on only taking a gallon (and no tires) on the required pit stop. Didn't know if full boost was going to allow that but in the end it worked out. The less than blazing fast (maybe it's the driver?) but very stable and consistent Courage performed beautifully the entire distance and came home a surprising 3rd in class/6th overall. I've got to be more than happy with that! Tom

This was fun; the MOMO Peugeot was ready for the fight, having done lots of tire testing when the race was going to be longer.
Got a decent start (for once), and was doing well throughout, with pitstop uneventful. Then Brent surprised me with that strategy and coming out just in front of me! Great few laps--real PORRS racing, no bumping, just clean running and close. He made his goof, and that was it. I was sure it would be me making the error under pressure, but this time I dodged that bullet.....also nice to see Brent at the end of a race!
One bad moment coming up to lap Miss Susan----heading up to the main straight, I suddenly lost her visually (although I still had audio), and then, rounding the pit entrance kink, suddenly the visual of her car popped back in and I was right on top of her! We seemed to manage to get through ok, but I hope it didn't cause any problem for her race (I didn't feel a bump, but...). Generally, there are no problems of this kind, so I thought I'd mention it.
Terry V.
