Looking forward to the rerun going smoothly and it did but I just couldn't get settled in the car. Maybe too much testing on tracks for the Panoz got me but that's no excuse. Tried some practice runs and decided not to Q as I was pushing it too much. During the race made it up to 7th at one point before looping it. Just didn't have the Jedi Mind set tonight...lol. Congrats to Loren on the win.

Got off to a good start but about 10 minutes in I spun at the final chicane and apparently Loren got by for the lead. I guess Loren had been right on my tail the whole time but I couldnt see him, lag or something. Spun later in the race so Tom and Bob got by abd I had a great battle for P3 with Bob for a few laps until I spun again DOH! Woulda liked to have been with Bob and Tom at the end as they had a great race for P2 alas the spin had put me too far behind. Congrats on the podium!!

Red Weasel Racing Reports
We revisit an old stand by, with much anticipation the Weasel Crew was ready for this one, only to find that after the Qualifying session it appeared that their hopes for a top finish were in vain with the top three spots going to Demons, it appeared that the Protons were not going to be a match (except for Loren's but we all know his car does not have wheels or tires, he has some sort of applied Alien Technology that only gives the impression that he has wheels).
Good Racing throughout and lots of great fun, The Head Weasel was heard talking about the great fun he had racing against Rob for more than a dozen laps setting some personal best lap times.
And the Weasel Wench was happy with her performance and it was commented on her over all showing of improvement, it has been said the Red Weasel Racing Team has one of the best Rookie development programs in the league, but experts question the use of stun guns as a viable means of re-enforcing bad habits?
See you on the track.

WoooooHoooo! What a blast. That was probably the most fun race I've had in either of the leagues I'm in. Another botched start (I've GOT to quit doing that!) left me dead last for the second race in a row. A manical drive toward the front gave me some of the most exciting racing ever. I hope I didn't tick anybody off.....I drove as hard as I could but don't think I hit anyone or caused them a problem. Early on I had a great dual with James that lasted a couple of laps and after finally getting past I was able to chase down Bob E. The rest of the race was a battle royal with him and then Brent joining the fray after his spin let us close the gap. I hounded Bob pretty hard for a few laps and then decided to follow him and see what happened later. After that is when Brent decide to join us. :-) Toward the end Bob had a pretty good spin and I was able to get a lead that I thought I could maintain until the end but he thought differently and reeled me in....I helped with my own off track excursion but he was going to get to me anyway. With a few laps left and our tires gone we had an out of control battle and he prevailed for second......while Loren was playing Bali music in first. Congrats Loren and great racing, Bob.

Start of the race, Loren just hit the afterburners and flew to the front.

Close racing, trying not to run over each other. Rob spins and I hammer the binders just missing him.

I blow the chicane and Harrison gets past until he goes off track as Tom catches up.

Brent spins out of the lead then shows me that he has no concern where I am (or more than likely he had no IDEA where I was) while he goes merrily warping on.

I spin because Brent's wing tickled my nose hairs then Tom gets past a spinning Brent.

Brent goes off while reeling me in. I catch Tom and we go side-by-each through the shi...er, chicane.

I was feeling far from well and even bailed out of the F1 race and was not even going to compete in this race. It is amazing how racing as hard as you can makes the mind forget about other things, though swallowing down what came up about 5 minutes from the end of the race made my face contort That was one of the hardest races I have ever run, top 5, and it was great to run that hard with the guys (and gals) in PORRS because you know it will be clean. Dang fun stuff fer sure ;D Bob

LMAO.......great stuff, Bob, and the pictures are great too. That was a lot of fun and I was doing everything I could to make you vomit.....sounds like it worked! :-) Just kidding of course. I trust you're feeling much better today. Hell, that might have been good practice for the Ironman run. 2 hours is going to be a long time without a pee break....at least for me. :-)
