The race for me was as good as my little LMP2 could have been. Glad to get in the top 10 but of course at the expense of a lot of other much faster folks having problems.
Congratulations to Tom for the big and first one. Well desirved, and just think, they come faster after this, ah, so I am told.
Greg, in the LMP2 that thinks its a LMP1. That bugger moves with authority. Congratulations Greg. Like a big brother my rig can look up to.
My times were about 2 seconds off what I was hoping I could do. After looking at the replay, it might have been due to all the damage to the car. A pretzel looks in better shape than the sides of that car. I got my hits, due mostly to my fault. Loosing concentration and ducking out of the way when I could. Decided not to repair and loose the time so went with it, unknowing the extense of it. Might not have changed my mind though.
When looking at the replay it seems there is more room than I was feeling while driving. The cockpit view just looks like I never am giving enough when in fact there is probably sufficient clearance.
I have to appoligize to a number of drivers that I probably was causing grief. In one case I was trying to pit but forgot to indicate my intentions with the proper PIT IN. In others, I felt it was better for all concerned at the time, if I get in a more favorable location. Maybe some others I just didn't do a good job but I was really trying.
All in all I had a fine time and thanks again to our leader, Mr. Ced for the opportunity and the fine effort put forth. Don't know how you keep all the marbles in the air at the same time.
