I thought I had something for Rick. Our times were similar and during practice I was very consistent. The race was a different story I managed to spin in the corkscrew and get hung on the lip only a couple laps in. Then I drove about 20 good laps and actually got closer the front. I pitted and my pit crew would not work on my car. I could not believe it, They are all fired! I went around again all the while thinking that I was done and tried it again. This time they decided to work on it of course I forgot to turn off damage so they took 59 seconds. They are so fired! After that I started chasing Dale he has like three Quarters of a lap on me so it's more like try not to get lapped. Dale must have had no wing cause he was hell on the straights but touchy in the corners. I got to give you a gold star for keeping that twichy thing on the track good drive.

I had a similar run to Scott, great lap time in qual, ran great through practice, and got it all wrong in the first half of the race, all four corners had bodywork issues, thanks to the high banked left hander down the hill, Bob was getting used tot he track, as he shot past about 1/4 through the race, don't know what happened to him, just saw smoke at the final turn.
Tough and unforgiving track, but it was still fun blasting through the hills.

Well it certainly was not my speed that won it. Just lucky enough to have a lead and hold off Dale, who had a Great run. If any other regulars had showed up, probably would have been differant outcome for me, Not sure where those 4 to 6 drivers are. Pat had a good run till something happend on the straight, Thanks Drivers, for giving the room to pass when available. Cya on track

Hey Rick, Your TDI Audi is a beast, at tracks that need a lot of torque, The only way i would have beaten you was if you beat yourself. The Aston runs pretty good in low down force trim. It was topping out at 210mph. Plus I 2x stinted the tires which takes a few seconds of the pit stop, otherwise you had me anyways. Good solid drive by the way.
On another note I can't drive any of the other Aston's, the SD or the TDI versions. I have no idea how Ced can drive either one? Good job Ced!
As for Scott He probably would have beaten me too. He managed to beat himself more than anything else or should I say his Pit Crew beat him. It wasn't funny at the time but in hind sight it is now. Fire the Dumb Bastards!!!!!!
Pat you were giving Rick a pretty good run there and i was hoping that he was going to crack maybe under your pressure, no offense Rick "position through attrition" Strange Brew Racing Philosophy. Then all of a sudden you were flying off the the track and stuck outside the fencing? Not sure if it was a mechanical failure or something that i would do like not paying attention to where the car is going ( San Martin comes to mind for me).
As for the next race against the Pits group if anyone wants to have a group practice,k post in the forum and may similar cars can exchange setups. just a thought.

yeah Rick,
Pat was a little bummed about that. He said he could match you in the twisties but you would pull him on that straight. He was ready to settle in for the chase and then his keyboard started to fall off his podium (which has never happened) and in trying to grab the keyboard he hit the drivers swap button and ended up in someone elses car. He ejected not knowing how to get back and not cause an issue for other drivers. For me I love this layout. But lost the mojo that day and couldn't put the consistent laps together.
