Oh Well....lol.
Two mistakes kept me from a top 3 or even maybe a 2nd place. No one was gonna catch Rick. But 2nd was an option. Blew it on the start and lost a spot. Then wondering where Pat was had me checking to see if he got booted and spun and dropped back in the pack. Worked my way up to 4th and then was closing in on Scott R with 10 minutes to go only to spin with his car in sight. Must have used up the tires as the car wasn't the same after the spin.

Aurgh!
I forgot we had a race on Sunday, I thought it was an off day because of the Challange race on Friday. DOH!
BTW, we got DISCO'ed with half a lap to go...

Sorry I couldn't make either race this weekend. Fri I got home late from work and Sun I was at the In Laws for a Daytona Party that I didn't leave until well after 10pm, even though the race was postponed.
Ced if you wouldn't mind could you post the replay of the race. I would like to see how it went.
I'm not sure when I'll be back with you guys and girls. I'm going in for surgery this week. I'm have both hips replaced. So I'll be out of work till July 2nd. Hopefully I will be able to race before that.
On another note I may have convinced my old teammate from the MNRL GTP days to join us. If we are still in this mod I think he will drive a Mi-Jack DBR1-2.

I did not get much practice untill just before the race but I got up to speed (not Rick speed) but pretty fast. Q'ed good and had a fast first half. I lost time messing with the pit settings. I could not decide what to do about taking tires. There was not a lot of places on that track to mess with settings and I lost chunks of time. I took tires and that put me out in back of Pat and I could not make up time. Whenever I got close I pushed too hard ran off and fell back. I saw Ced comming and it looked like he had the same problem. Good racing Congrats to Rick the rabbit. Way too fast.
