Wow! That was a lucky one for sure. I'm sure Rick would like to have another crack at that one. I knew Rick was faster for sure and I would not be able to hold him off very long once he was on my tail. I benefited from the first lap cold bakes/tires. The first lap spin by Rick was just enough for my pit strategy to work. It still took laying down the fastest laps of the race near the end to get the win. Traffic was very good. Thanks to all those who gave plenty of room to pass on a difficult circuit. I would also say that Audi TDI is a beast. The low end torque is very strong. It is scary when you hear that diesel roar coming up behind you. Its almost enough to make me consider switching to a diesel my self. I just can't get the handling of the DBR1-TDI down. Finely, I glad to report that even though I'm still on crutches, I can still race without any loss of speed. Thank God! See you all at the next race.

Great steady drive Dale!!! You deserved the win Well, the racing gods had their way with me last night. From my trusty G-25 missing a downshift going into the first corner at the start, to me missing my pit stall and to finally an ill timed maneuver by a lapper at the end of the race, would be my undoing and cost me 7 precious seconds. Everyone did a Great job of allowing room to get by on such a tight, fun track. Sure would like to see Terry, Sandy and the crowd, make it back onto the track again. we will see you all at the next track, the Quixotic Audi team will be ready, Nope i was not ready........................

I had one of those weeks where life just got in the way of racing. So I had 30 minutes practice and this was a tricky track. I had my share of flips and flops the first half and could not get past 5th place. After a short pit taking no tires Ced gave up enough time for me to catch him. Then the fun began. We both wacked each other enough that getting to the finish line it was like no you take it oh no you take it. He He so I took it but it was a gift. I hope I get a little better organized this week. I may have to go to the used race car store and look at Audi's.

Yeah Scott,
That was funny at the end and not something I am proud of because I don't race that way. I was getting increasing frustrated with myself having run a pretty much mistake free race and going from third to 5th in the last 10 minutes. But that battle at the end was hilarious. I had to give you the spot back because like I said, I don't race that way.
Next race should be good.

Yeah Rick I would love to race with you guys again. Unfortunately, I moved to Nova Scotia, Canada recently and only moved what would fit in my car this time. So my racing rig is still in Nashville and probably will remain there until May or June. I'll definitely be back though, but not until the summer. See you soon.
