Red Weasel Racing Reports Race Line: Indalo
Fun track, once you get into it, it just flows, well with the exception of the hairpin, for some reason I had to tip toe around that turn all race, and even then I spent one lap wondering who put the ball bearings under my tires as I spent a really long time trying to get straightened out and back on track.
Lap one I ended up joining a small gaggle off the track as Ced, Nick and I all went a little to deep into the corner and spat out gravel for another couple of laps. Once I settled in I tried to just run smooth comfortable laps, I didn’t want to push it and suffer the remorse of having to explain to Mister Jerry Rigg why his car was scattered all over turns 7 and 8.
So with that in mind I ran mostly smooth laps, I did crank out another 1:23 on lap 27 a handful of laps after my pit stop, I decided to double stint my Mediums, something that saved me time in the pits but nearly cost me the race with 5 minutes to go, as I noticed I was really pushing through turns I pulled up tire telemetry and saw my left front was cooked, all that was needed was a little B-B-Q sauce and it would have been ready…that in mind last few laps I slowed down to bring the temperature down and regain some grip.
Miss Susan had a few issues but for the most part she ran a happy race, she kept the rubber sided down and on track most of the time, we did have a couple of laps where through miscommunication we both ran some slow laps as she tried to give me room to pass and I was happy and content to draft her for a while…
And as the checked flag waved it looks like the Weasels took the top two steps of the podium and Nick occupied the third.
Mark was Uber-fast again…but even he could not escape the reach of the grip thief as I saw him go off a couple of times due mostly to the loss of grip in the slower corners.
Thanks to all the P1s for letter us lowly slow P2 get out of the way and make room for you as you were running us down…late in the race it was like every time I looked at the status bar Mark was behind me… d**n he is fast.
And just to let you know, Mister Rigg had our Caddys with 20/18 DF and I didn’t think that was enough… that might explain why the left front tire in particular was toasted.
Thanks for the Racin’
James

Well, That certainly wasn't my best effort. I thought I had a set-up for the TDI Aston, but I was shocked!!! when i saw what the Audi's were doing. So I went back to the petrol Aston. It was more stable. I owe an apology to Pat. I turned into Pat in the first corner and took us both out. I was all my fault he had the corner. So I waited for him to get back on the track and let him pass me back, but he threw the C-65 off the track at the next turn. So I was hell bent to make up time and reeled Ced in. I then set off to see if I could close some of the gap to Scott. I got out ahead of him after my pit and it would have been close if I had not spun going down the hill on the back of the track. He was closing the gap and we would have had a good fight i think in the last lap or so. Hope I didn't cause any hardship to anyone in the P-2 class. I was not as patient as I should have been and was shooting the first gap available. I tried to give room and not muscle anyone off their line. Great Races To Mark and James.
Not sure What happened to Rick Because his car just stopped and was in the garage without warning. Was that disco or game crash Raick?

Wondered what happened to ya Rick. First thing I thought of was Internet went down. A CTD is just more aggravating.
Well we head to the Old School Imola. Fast and flowing track with thos darn double lefts that can catch you out. This should be a barn burner.
