Well I'll take the win as we all know how hard they are to get. The Aston had the pace to keep Rick and Scott within sight. However, when i saw Rick and Scott have early spins i decided to drive a more conservative race pace to insure a mistake free race. Even so Rick was closing at the end and if there were a few more laps he was going to hard to hold off. I could hear That TDI diesel breathing fire on the last 2 turns. He must have 2x the tires on his stop as our pit laps times were close. The first lap however, is always an adventure on cold tires especially the med compound. I slowed somewhat on the last lap to 1:23 because all i could in vision was a last lap spin and another 2nd place. I needed the win to get back some points on Scott.
