Hi Everyone, Well the last few races have been fun. We had Terry Vreeland and Sandy Robinson come out and join us for the Karts which were a blast. Then we had the Trucks, which were fun and there will be some good vids posted but they gave some, some problems and the turnout was low. So we are going to bring the Mini's in early and they will be up for the next race on the 19th. This will be the Mini's vs 500. If you want to get me a paint, please do so by the 14th. Having Issues... I added the PORRS 500 addon and rFactor CTDs
Any Ideas?

Hi James,
Can you verify that there is a GNR1 folder in the Vehicles\MiniChallenge06 folder and a 207xxx in the sounds folder. Does it ctd every time the game loads or just after the first install. If any one else is having issues with the 500 we can drop it.

I'm getting errors too for both the mod and the track. The server is allowing the mismatches but I'd still like to clear them up. I'll post the errors shortly.

MCS.HDV mismatch and
VIRGrandCourseEast.gdb mismatch.
The GRN1 (not GNR1) folder and 207xxx folders do exist in my install.

I think I have the version 3 VIR track. I tried to locate v4 but it is not at rfactor central. Could someone post a link to the location of the v4 track please?

Sandy, I goggled VIR 4.0 and it gave me a web site that I was able to d/l it. although I am still getting the hdv errors and I have vir 4.0 I even deleted 3.0 to make sure it was not causing a problem. Thanks Rick. I now have the correct track with no .gdb error. I still have the .hdv error though.

I added a link to the track on the server.
Can you guys with .hdv mismatches check the date on the hdv file? The one on the server is 7/19 and looks like it wasn't updated to 1.1. It will be patched in the next few minutes. It should now be 7/23. There is a link to the update in the first thread. Continue to use the PORRS Compact Challenge rfm

My MCS.hdv file in ....GameData/Vehicles/MiniChallenge06/SClass is dated 7/23.

Well there you have it, we got DISCOed without finishing the first lap in race two... there you have it, first out run by Fiats, then the indignation of 70's dance music.
