Thanks Paul, I appreciate it. I haven't decided what to use for the season yet other than 1 choice is likely the Porsche Spyder. There's little chance of winning a race, no chance of winning either class championship and no Fords to pick so I'll probably pick the one that sounds the best. Tom

FirstI I want to mention that I have uploaded my two cars. One each, the Hansen Motorsports-Lola Ex264 P1 and Lola EXP257 P2. Since we have the choice of two I am going to try the P1 for the first time. Not saying I will ever drive it but it's there in case I feel like a diferent challenge.
I also have to mention that these are a takeoff of the original Blue Angles- Saleen made by Jim Counter at the Champion Motorsports league. His Saleen just hit me and needed it. These two Lola's were done in similar styles with alteration of my own.
Experience driving in the leagues where these cars originated I can say the P1 will generally top the overall final standings when in the 4 class events. There will be instances when the P2, in the right hands will top out but I believe it might be due to some problem occuring with the P1.
In the Endurance events the P1 will top the field unless problems occur.
These P1's have much more setup abilities.
Am sure my success in a P1 will be non evident since setups do not come easy for me but I still might want to try. Even a good SU will reveal sub level results due to lack of talent. That's another topic.
We have some very good drivers in these two leagues where James is also competing. James will give the best of them a run for the gold. Paul was in there for a time and has experience as well and battled with the best. My experience has been with the BRM GT2, Saleen GT1 and the Lola P2. I am a mid fielder at best, in any class entered but just have to enjoy them no matter where I end up. You will too.
Look forward to the season.

Larry,
Everyone is a mid fielder at one point or another in their racing career. I raced in a GTR2 league not to long ago and was in the back of the pack when it came to talent but because those guys raced against each other so well it was a blast to compete. Such is the case in PORRS. I love racing with you guys in this league because your all clean racers. We all have our bad days and will sometime make bad judgements but over all this IS the best bunch of guys to have fun with ;D
If anyone ever needs a setup you just have to shout it out, I'm sure you've get 4 or 5 setups from different people, one or two of them should work with your driving style.

I have been thinking about the Lola Porsche, I had a quick spin in the Audi and it's a totally different animal from the last winter season LMP's, I'm going to paint one up and see what I think of it, maybe in the 06 Mazda colours.

I feel I was premature in uploading my Lola's as I hadn't ask for permission from Jim Counter as yet. Since these are not exactly like his Saleen car and my interpretation for a different car I still feel it only right to ask him first.
So, I deleted my cars for now.
Well, Jim has given the green flag, so the upload is back in.

Dave,
Glad to hear all is ok.
Now for a notice to all,
I must appologize for my mistake. The uploaded cars in the up/download section had mistakes and please, if you downloaded this zip file, remove it, and replace with the new Zip I just uploaded this morning 9/17.
The error was the P1 Lola_EX264 had P2 tags attached. Critial error no doubt as the car would run sluggish at best.
Other things I noticed was the two cars color had blends that I didn't like and corrected and a couple of additional minor alterations.
Glad I caught the tag thing though, whew wii.
Thanks,
Larry
